History: Shadowlord was not always as he is now. Once, he was a great hero. A champion of justice called Blastblaze. In his dimension, he was heralded as a great beacon of light. A chance for the future of Paragon City.

However, it was this praise that was ultimately his downfall. Just as the rich want more riches, he wanted more power. So he began to delve into magic. The dark arts are a tempting subject, and they servred him well. He was able to increase the power of his energy blasts tenfold by tapping into the netherworld.

This power came with a price. It eventually warped him. Changed him into something he had never wanted to be. He then destroyed all he had ever stood for with one fell swoop. After allying himself with the dark forces, he betrayed and murdered his former friends, mentors, and students. And so, Blastblaze was no more, and Shadowlord was born.

He conquered the world. When he got to that point, he found he had nothing left. This drove him into an insane rage that he will take out on all other dimensions, starting with ours.
