Victory Recovery Partners – Open During Covid 19 for Tele-health Visits

Victory Recovery Partners announced that, in response to the Covid-19 pandemic, the company has reorganized its addiction treatment operations and staff in order to offer patients tele-health visits, effective this week.

The company stated that its substance use disorder patients will be able to obtain Victory’s full suite of services – Medication Assisted Treatment(including Suboxone and similar medications), Psychiatric Care (including medication management), Behavioral Health services (including individual and group counseling), and Wellness care – through remote Video Visits.

Victory’s physicians, psychiatrists, and behavioral health clinicians are now fully equipped with telemedicine technology needed to continue rendering care.

HOW TELE-HEALTH WORKS

According to Dr. Paolo T. Coppola, the founder of Victory, patients are now able to receive care from Victory’s physicians, psychiatrists, and clinical staff via Video Visits using their smart phones, tablets, or computers.

“Feedback from our patients so far has been uniformly positive”, said Dr. Coppola, noting that patients will continue to receive prescriptions for addiction medicine such as Suboxone through the Video Visits. “We are also accepting new patients, as other providers may not be properly equipped to accommodate continued service to their patients during the current health crisis.”

CONTINUITY OF CARE DURING CORONA VIRUS CRISIS

“As of this time, we are not aware that any Victory staff or patients have been exposed to the corona virus, but nonetheless, we wanted to get ahead of this crisis and be as proactive as possible”, said Don McCabe, President of Victory.

“Many of our patients are understandably concerned about leaving their homes during this period. Consequently, over the past couple of weeks we carefully developed detailed plans for offering Video Visits so that all of our patients could continue receiving care, without interruption, for so long as the current pandemic persists.”

“Simply put, shutting down our centers was not an option”, said Dr. Coppola. “Patients’ lives depend on our services – perhaps now more than ever. I am pleased that our team has been able to adapt to the Covid-19 health crisis so that Victory can provide seamless, ongoing care.”
