Christina McMahon, MS, CASAC, is a credentialed alcoholism and substance abuse counselor (CASAC) with training and experience in treating patients with substance use disorders and their families. Christina earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the State University of New York at Albany. Upon graduation, she began her journey as a high school special education teacher in a high-needs school district on Long Island. Seeing the generational effect of addiction within the school system, Christina found a new passion and worked to become a credentialed addiction professional through the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse.
