Christopher Xikis PA-C, was born and raised on Long Island where he graduated from Mercy High School in 1996. Christopher attended SUNY Farmingdale College earning an Applied Associates degree in Biomedical Engineering Technology in 1998. Christopher received his Physician Assistant Certification from SUNY Stony Brook in 2003.
Christopher has worked in many areas of medicine with a diverse training in Family Practice, Cardiology, and Vascular Surgery. In 2005, Christopher began his training for Medication Assisted Treatment in both Opioid and Alcohol Abuse Disorder when he joined the Chemical Dependency Rehabilitation Unit at St. Charles Hospital. In 2014, Christopher joined St. Charles Hospital full time with the opening of their Medical Stabilization and Withdrawal Unit where he currently serves as Chief Clinical PA to the unit.
Since graduating the Stony Brook PA Program, Christopher still remains very active at the University. He sits on the admissions committee and also continues to serve as a guest lecturer to the program. When not working clinically, Christopher is also an instructor for Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
