Elisandra Fini, BA, CASAC-T grew up on Long Island and graduated from Half Hollow Hills High School East in 2006. After seeing the devastation that addiction causes in lives, Elisandra pursued an Associate in Applied Science degree in chemical dependency counseling from Suffolk County Community College. She graduated as an honors program student With Highest Distinction in 2015 and received NYS certification as a Credentialed Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC-T).
Elisandra received several national and state awards for academics, leadership, and service in the community including the All-USA Academic Team Award, Guistwhite Award, All-New York Academic Team, SUNY Chancellor for Academic Excellence, and Who’s Who Among American Students and Universities & Colleges. Elisandra continued her education at St. Joseph’s College on a full-tuition academic scholarship where she graduated in 2018 Summa Cum Laude with English Departmental Honors. She has membership in the National Association of Social Workers, Delta Epsilon Sigma Honor Society, Gamma Tau Delta Honor Society, Golden Key International Honor Society, and served as Vice President of Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society for two years.
Elisandra Fini, BA, CASAC-T is Narcan certified and CPR/AED certified. She has experience working in both inpatient and outpatient settings of addiction treatment, conducting seminars on a regular basis on relapse prevention, codependency, anger management, family therapy, and vocational planning. Elisandra is passionate about helping those who struggle with substance use disorders and their families. She regularly volunteers in the community and attends advocacy events such as the Annual Walk for Recovery with hope that the stigma of addiction can be broken. Elisandra Fini, BA, CASAC-T is currently attaining her Master of Science degree in Social Work and is a trauma-informed and human-rights concentrate.
