Hicksville OTP (Methadone Center) Opening July 7th 2025

Victory Recovery Partners, a network of seven addiction/recovery centers, is excited to announce that a new Methadone center will be opening on July 7th, 2025, in Hicksville, New York. This represents the opening of our third Methadone program – the other Methadone locations are in Farmingville and Shirley, New York. At Victory, our motto is “No One Left Behind.” With the opening of our new Methadone center in Hicksville, we are able to provide treatment to more patients, ensuring that our motto is always followed.

If you are struggling with an opioid addiction, you may be wondering, “What exactly is Methadone? How does it work?” Methadone is a synthetic opioid medication primarily used in the treatment of opioid addiction, particularly in opioid maintenance programs. It is classified as a long-acting opioid agonist. Methadone is commonly used as a maintenance medication for individuals who are dependent on opioids, such as heroin or prescription painkillers (e.g., oxycodone, hydrocodone). It helps reduce withdrawal symptoms and cravings, allowing individuals to stabilize their lives and work on recovery. Methadone has a long duration of action, which means it can be administered once a day in most cases, making it suitable for opioid maintenance treatment. Methadone helps reduce the intense cravings associated with opioid addiction, making it easier for individuals to abstain from using opioids.

As we have seen with the success of our OTPs in Farmingville and Shirley, Methadone treatment proves to be a dependable and successful treatment method for those suffering with opioid use disorder. Many of our patients who receive Methadone also participate in one-on-one counseling with our experienced team of behavioral health counselors and participate in group therapy. We find that receiving counseling (in addition to Methadone), helps our patients to discover the root causes and underlying reasons why their addictions started, and how to prevent a relapse upon the successful completion of our programs.

Our newly redesigned website explains all of the benefits of receiving Methadone as a treatment for opioid use disorder and addiction, as well as the specific information about our programs. Learn more about our Methadone centers and services here.

Victory Recovery Partners, a network of addiction recovery centers, has seen very positive results from the Farmingville and Shirley Methadone programs. Now, with the addition of our third Methadone program in Hicksville, we are providing even more options for our patients to receive the potentially life-saving help that they need to overcome their addictions. If you are a new or current patient, or know of someone who would benefit from our Methadone program, we encourage you to contact us at 631-696-4357 or visit www.victoryrp.com
