Convenient, Private, and Effective Care
Telehealth Services at Victory Recovery Partners
Travel, work schedules, health limitations and family responsibilities can make it hard to attend every treatment session in person, but Victory Recovery Partners offers virtual drug rehab services that let eligible clients get addiction and behavioral health care through secure remote appointments.
Depending on your clinical needs, virtual treatment can include individual counseling, select group sessions, intensive outpatient programming, psychiatric care, medication management and certain medication-assisted treatment follow-up visits. Some clients receive most eligible services remotely while others combine virtual appointments with care at one of our Long Island treatment locations.
Virtual care isn’t right for every situation, so before treatment starts, our team completes an assessment to determine if remote, in-person or hybrid care will provide the safest, most effective option.
Virutal Drug Rehab Services
What Is Telehealth?
Victory Recovery Partners uses telehealth to make coordinated outpatient addiction and mental health services more accessible. Available virtual services may include individual and select group counseling, virtual intensive outpatient program sessions, psychiatric medication management, psychiatric evaluations and follow-up care and dual diagnosis treatment. Eligibility depends on a person’s symptoms, withdrawal risk, treatment needs, location, technology access and ability to participate safely from home.
Virtual drug rehab provides outpatient addiction treatment through secure video or approved phone appointments. Instead of traveling to a treatment center for every session, clients can connect with counselors, psychiatric providers and other members of the treatment team from a private location.
You generally need a smartphone, tablet or computer with reliable internet access, and Victory can send an appointment link by email or text so you can connect without navigating a complicated digital platform.
Virtual treatment is still structured clinical care so clients attend scheduled sessions, follow an individualized treatment plan and work toward defined recovery goals. Telehealth may be used as the primary format for eligible services or as one part of a hybrid plan.
Virtual care is different from inpatient or residential drug rehab because clients keep living at home and the program doesn’t provide overnight housing or continuous supervision. It’s generally for people who are medically and psychiatrically stable enough to safely manage between appointments.

What to Expect
How Virtual Intensive Outpatient Treatment Works
Victory may provide virtual intensive outpatient program services for clients who need ongoing and structured care but not necessarily inpatient supervision.
An intensive outpatient program or IOP involves more frequent treatment than standard outpatient counseling. Virtual IOP services may include:
- Scheduled group therapy
- Individual counseling
- Psychiatric appointments
- Recovery education
- Coping skills development
- Relapse prevention planning
- Medication management
- Case management and treatment coordination
This structure can benefit clients who need support while keeping up with other responsibilities, but convenience alone doesn’t determine if virtual IOP is the right fit. A clinical assessment helps establish if someone can participate safely and effectively.
If a higher level of care is needed, Victory can provide referrals.
Why Choose Our Virtual Drug Rehab Center
Virtual Services Available Through Victory Recovery Partners
Individual and Group Counseling
Individual counseling is a confidential setting to talk about personal factors connected to substance use. These sessions may address cravings, triggers, trauma, stress, relationships, emotional regulation and recovery goals.
A counselor can also help you identify thought patterns and behaviors increasing the risk of returning to substance use. When difficulties occur, the treatment plan can be reassessed instead of treating a setback as proof recovery failed.
Select group counseling sessions may also be available virtually. Group care can help with developing coping strategies, building accountability, practicing communication and learning from others facing similar challenges.
Not every group or specialty service is offered online, and current availability depends on scheduling, program requirements and if remote participation is clinically appropriate.
Psychiatric and Dual Diagnosis Services
Virtual care may include psychiatric evaluations, follow-up appointments and medication management, which are services that can be especially important when a substance use disorder occurs along with a psychiatric concern.
Victory provides dual diagnosis treatment through a coordinated model so counselors, psychiatric providers, addiction professionals and other members of the treatment team can share relevant information and work from one plan.
The coordination helps our team understand how substance use, mental health symptoms, sleep, medications and daily stressors affect each other. It also prevents clients from having to manage unrelated addiction and psychiatric treatment systems on their own.
Medication-Assisted Treatment and Telehealth
Certain medication-assisted treatment appointments may be completed through telehealth, particularly follow-up visits. However, remote access does depend on the specific medication, stage of treatment, prescribing requirements and the provider’s clinical judgment.
Medication-assisted treatment can involve options like Suboxone, Sublocade or Vivitrol. Our medical providers determine if medication is appropriate after going over your substance use, withdrawal symptoms, medical history, current prescriptions and recovery goals.
Some parts of care still require an in-person visit, like Sublocade and Vivitrol injections and methadone dispensing. While Victory operates methadone programs at some of our physical locations, it can’t be dispensed through a virtual appointment.
Medication-assisted treatment isn’t just medicine. Counseling and behavioral health care are still central because medication doesn’t address factors like trauma, stress, relationships, habits or other factors contributing to continued substance use.
